What is Page 8?
Page 8 of the bilingual Animal Health Certificate (Page 5 of the English-only version) contains the section titled 'Official at the travellers' point of entry'. This section is reserved for the competent authority responsible for carrying out the documentary and identity checks when your pet first enters the European Union.
The highlighted section is completed by the competent authority at the first EU point of entry.

This section is not completed by the pet owner and is not completed by the Official Veterinarian issuing the Animal Health Certificate.
It is intended to be completed by the competent authority at the first point of entry into the European Union following the documentary and identity checks.
